Managing Director

Stephanie is a fourth year kinesiology and global health student, concentrating on a multi-disciplinary approach to health and community engagement. Her passion is health-related knowledge translation.
For the non-profit organization’s inaugural year, Stephanie’s focus is on expanding Health Out Loud’s programs, fiscal capacity and brand reach. Through this grassroots initiative, she is determined to make learning about health relatable and fun. Working alongside a very multi-disciplinary and ambitious team, Stephanie is excited to be inspired, to grow personally and to collaborate.

Vicky La is currently a third year student doing a major in Physical and Environmental Geography and double minoring in Political Science and French at the University of Toronto. Vicky has a passion for education, mentorship and community engagement and hopes to raise more discussions of health within the community, especially in spaces where health discussions are few.

Michelle is a third-year student at the University of Toronto, majoring in Biotechnology and Cell Systems Biology. She has an avid interest in the impact of biotechnology on modern health and is eager to gain further insight through diverse Health Out Loud partnerships.

Kevin is a third year student attending Ryerson University, majoring in Global Management and double minoring in Finance and Marketing. He is excited to be a part of Health Out Loud, and is passionate to learn as well as contribute to helping the organization move further towards success. Having past experience with teaching, he hopes to bring not only educational skills, but also management skills that will inspire others.

Carena is a currently completing her postgraduate studies in Public Administration. As an active volunteer in the community and a graduate in Sociology, she became very interested in the factors that affect health promotion and awareness in the public. Now working with a non-profit organization, she hopes to continue to make a meaningful impact in different communities as she believes health is a right. As an Executive Assistant, Carena is extremely excited to be working and learning alongside with such a diverse and passionate group of people and seeing the success of their work reflected in communities.
