Our 2015 Summer Marketing Team:
Director of Marketing
A graduate of the University of Toronto in Psychology and Sociology, and an avid volunteer, Lia is excited to bring both the weight of her experiences and passionate curiosity to HOL’s Communication team. Counting teacher, student, tutor, mentor, research assistant, club executive and project leader among her roles, she has seen some of the challenges faced by varied populations in terms of both informational and practical barriers to health. The insights gained in these roles have made her eager to continue to connect with and to empower others, bringing her to her post as University Program Co-ordinator. Personally, professionally and academically, Lia is very interested in community partnerships, health education, health promotion and social factors affecting health. Through her role at HOL, Lia hopes not only to facilitate the proliferation of health information and discussion, but also to encourage the building of strong, supportive networks of people who can grow together.

Graphic Designer & ArtistI am a second year student majoring in physiology and biomedical toxicology at the University of Toronto. Aside from my discipline in the science, creating artwork is one of my favorite pastimes, and it is truly amazing to be able to combine my passion for both science and art at Health Out Loud to effectively promote health in our global community.
