Director of Finance
Stanley is a Registered Nurse with experience in the fields of Cardiology & Telemetry and Public Health. He brings vast knowledge on topics of social inequity, advocacy, chronic disease and injury prevention, program planning, and community engagement. He hopes to use his knowledge to help increase health literacy, improve knowledge translation methodologies, and and progress the state of health across the population.
Director of Finance
Bavitthran is a 3rd year undergraduate student at the school of accounting and finance at Ryerson, in pursuit of a CPA designation. He joined HOL because it presented itself as an opportunity to meet new people, volunteer for an important cause, and because he saw an immediate connection to the group. He wishes to not only learn in a new environment, but also apply his skills in a manner that promotes organizational growth.

Madhav is a third year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, specializing in Political Science. While having previous volunteer experiences as a teacher at non-for profit organizations and charitable institutions abroad; as a Co-Director of Programs at HOL, he is looking forward to taking his passion for health education and promotion and translating them into meaningful changes in the community.
Willis is an accounting professional completing his final year at the University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management. With over 3 years of experience in various accounting and leadership roles, Willis excels at managing teams. Willis enjoys committing his spare time helping non-profit communities and is on track to obtaining his CPA, Audit designation.
I am currently a commerce student at the University of Toronto and I am passionate about following a healthy lifestyle. My interests include sports, photography and travelling. For me, Health Out Loud stands out to me as a health and wellness organization because our programs are tailored to the needs of individual communities. I look forward to a wonderful year with a great team!
Miguel is a 3rd year student studying accounting at Ryerson. He decided to join HOL as an Accountant because it provided him the opportunity to gain knowledge of not-for-profit accounting while having the chance to effectively promote health literacy, an important topic in every community. He looks forward to making a difference in his local community while learning and growing as a person.
Faraz (Muhammad) Choudhary
I graduated with Honors from York University with an accounting major. I am currently pursuing the CPA and CFA designations. I believe in a healthy lifestyle and want to ensure that my efforts within HOL are aligned with HOL’s goal of spreading health literacy across Canada. I look forward to a great year with the organization and its people.
Natalie To is currently a student at University of Toronto Mississauga’s Master of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) Advance 12 Months program. She aspired to become a CPA since she was in high school but has an interest in arts and health related topics. Natalie hopes to gain a better understanding of non-profit organizations and health through volunteering with Health Out Loud.
Anum Shivji Arwani
I recently moved to Toronto and am excited to be starting the ‘grown up’ chapter of life! I graduated from King’s College London with an MSc in Neuroscience and have a strong interest in mental health awareness and more things science-y. I love meeting new people, singing and sleeping (perhaps a little too much). I prefer my savoury to my sweet treats and love new projects- especially those that test and teach you and allow you to help make a difference. I hope that during my time at HOL, we can collectively share awesome ideas to work on exciting new challenges that push us to succeed, succeed and keep succeeding.
Luke is an undergraduate student studying Political Science, Sociology, and Computer Science at the University of Toronto. He is not only passionate in living a healthy lifestyle, but also in developing a healthy society. Luke feels that Health out Loud plays a significant role in this development, and is confident in its potential to grow. He is excited to begin his contribution to the team. In his free time, he enjoys to work on small projects that make his life easier, and reading really long fantasy series’.
Anjana is a grade 12 student, hoping to pursue a future in accounting and finance. She has a passion for volunteering, mentor-ship and community engagement. She embraces values such as respect, responsibility and health; and hopes to promote these values by being part of the Health Out Loud team.
Shanu is a third year university student majoring in sociology and human biology. Shanu is currently the secretary for Health out Loud and is excited to be involved as she is passionate about the many aspects of health.
Maggie is a first year life-science student at the University of Toronto.
Having great enthusiasm in facilitating education and health awareness for youth, she has found her niche with Health Out Loud. As a bibliophile, she can be seen lining up at midnight release parties for unusual editions and autograph copies of her favourite books.
Jessica Li graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto’s Neuroscience program. Her diverse interests include history, nutrition, food security, ecology and conservation, and environmental health, all of which contribute to a multidisciplinary view of health and well being. As a new grant writer, she is looking forward to connecting with new and old partners in community building.
Priynka Patil is a recent graduate of the University of Western Ontario. She completed an Honours Specialization in Health Science with Biology. Currently she is doing her Masters in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Priyanka has and continues to be very involved in the London community. She dedicates her time volunteering for many non-for-profit organizations. She has taken on leadership positions with Over55 London Inc., Learning it Together, Saint John Ambulance, Women’s Empowerment International Foundation and Canadian Cancer Society Student Bureau. Priynka is very passionate about improving the health of Canadians through health promotion and she hopes to make a career out of it one day.
Arqam is a first year Masters Candidate in the Institute of Medical Science. He graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto majoring in Human Biology and Psychology. He is a new grant writer for HOL for this coming year. He is excited to be involved in this initiative to promote Health Literacy as it is an issue that is relevant to everyone of any background.
Nikita is a first year student at the University of Toronto, hoping to double major in English and Global Health. She is excited to be one of the new grant writers for Health Out Loud this year, and looks forward to using her passion for writing in a meaningful manner and being a part of the overall mission to promote health literacy.
